πŸ“šπŸ£ P.4. Weekly Activities 6.4.20

2nd Apr 2020

Hi everyone! πŸ₯°πŸ‘‹

We hope you are all safe and well. A big thank you to both our Primary 4’s and their adults at home, for working so hard at home and keeping in touch. You’re all doing such an amazing job!🌈

πŸ™This week is Holy Week and the last week before Lent ends. It is the week right before Easter Sunday, when we remember the death and Resurrection of Jesus. Some of us made Lenten promises to give things up, start new traditions and be extra kind during Lent. Thank you for trying hard over the Lenten time!πŸ™

We want you to try and have some fun this week and over your Easter Holidays week.We have suggested some fun Easter crafting or drawing on your weekly planner. You could even do some Easter baking or cooking with your family! There will be some reduced written work this work to encourage you to relax, be creative and participate in some fun SeeSaw activities.

  1. Visit the ‘Grow in Love’ web-page (using log in details: username: trial@growinlove.ie password: growinlove)- Go to the Primary 4 section, Theme 7: ‘Holy Week and Easter’. Can you read and listen to both lessons on Jesus’ death & Resurrection, to help you to remember what happened in the days before Jesus died, and why we remember him at Easter. πŸ™β€

  2. Easter Activities: Can you create a lovely ‘Happy Easter’ poster or banner for your house? Stick it up somewhere to celebrate Easter time! You could even try painting eggs or crafting some cute Easter chicks or bunnies from some junk materials in your house e.g. toilet roll holders! Check the documents below for some Easter colouring and activity pages too! πŸ£πŸ‡

  3. Easter Baking/Cooking: Why not help someone out in the kitchen over Easter? Make some fun Easter tray bakes with different types of cereal and melted chocolate! Have a look at some of our Easter baking recipes in the documents below too-Yummy!πŸ‘¨‍🍳

  4. P.E/Outdoor Fun Ideas: If the weather is good, try to get outside and play. Scroll down to the bottom of the page & try some of our P.E. activity cards too. Try and do P.E. with Joe Wicks in the mornings (Monday-Friday) at 9am- Lots of fun movements and such a great way to start your day.🀸‍♂️

  5. Indoor Activity Ideas: We have found a super list of 100 indoor activities for you to look through & some positive colouring/rainbows (scroll to bottom to download). See if you can try and tick off as many as you can over the Easter break! Have lots of fun doing it and let us know how you get on! βœ”πŸ˜Š

We miss you all lots Primary 4 but we love seeing your photographs through our Class SeeSaw. It’s also great to see your work too! Thanks for working so hard. Remember to check your Class SeeSaw account for messages from us and SeeSaw activities.
