Problem Solving

It's vital that we use and apply the skills we learn in numeracy. Everyday we are faced with little problems, adding totals in the take-away, how much to pay for that bus and how many sweets do I need to last for the weekend! To put our skills into practice we do a weekly problem solving activity. Our latest was 'Out for a Run' where we had to work out the time it took to run certain distances. We looked for patterns to make the problem solving easier!
